Your chosen Heroic (Brynhild, Shield Colossus, or Earth Mother) plants the defensive stake. The Rares bring the three pillars: Bastion Knight layers Stone Wall + Endure for capture-and-reduction protection, Rootbound Protector combines Ward with Deep Roots capture, and Petrified Sage locks surrounding corners via Petrify.
