A Strategic Dwarven Plate Game

Two dwarves duel on a 6×6 grid. Place your plates, pit side against side, and capture everything you outmatch. No luck, no mana — just sharp positioning, cascading combos, and plates that shatter when worn down. Whoever holds the most when the board fills wins.

HOW TO PLAY

Three rules. That's the whole game.

1

Hold the Board

Gain the most plates by the time the grid is full, and you win.

Compare Sides

Place beside an enemy — your touching side vs theirs. The greater side wins. Ties stay put.

Break What Blocks You

A plate in your way? Flip its control 3 times — through placements and combos — to shatter it and free the slot.

CHAINS & COMBOS

When your house holds the advantage over an enemy's, each capture rechecks every neighbor — a single plate can set off a chain reaction that flips half the board. Wearing a plate down through repeated flips is how you finally shatter it.

FIVE DWARVEN HOUSES

Every plate belongs to a house, and each house carries its strength on different sides of the plate. Learn where your edge lies — and where you're exposed.

Stillforge

STILLFORGE

The Iron Wall

Balanced on every side with a subtle right-side lean. No exploitable weakness — anchor the flank and grind opponents down.

6464
Runeweaver

RUNEWEAVER

The Dual Axis

Devastating top-and-bottom, vulnerable left-and-right. Win through positioning — outplay, don't outmuscle.

7634
Embercrest

EMBERCREST

The Spearhead

A top-and-right assault with an exposed left flank. Strike from below to lead with your dominant top edge.

3674
Stoneheart

STONEHEART

The Anchor

A bottom-and-right fortress, weak up top and to the left. Lock the right side and hold ground until the grid fills.

3737
Shadowmine

SHADOWMINE

The Wildcard

Every plate is a different puzzle with no predictable axis. Unreadable placements that punish assumptions.

Real plates, real numbers

THE PLATES

45 plates span the five houses — nine tiers each, from Common up to Legendary. Every plate carries four side values between 2 and 8, and higher tiers pack a bigger budget across those sides. These are the genuine plates straight from the game's lexicon.

DURABILITY

Every plate enters with 3 lives. Each flip steps its frame down a rank — Legendary → Rare → Common — and on the third flip it shatters off the board. Lives travel with the plate no matter who controls it, so a plate that keeps trading hands shatters sooner.
